Abstract: An example optical-electrical apparatus includes an optical-to-electrical conversion circuit, an electrical signal processing circuit, an electrical signal interface circuit, and a status detection circuit. The optical-to-electrical conversion circuit is configured to convert an optical signal into an electrical signal. The electrical signal processing circuit is configured to output a first parameter of the optical signal based on the electrical signal, where the first parameter includes an optical polarization parameter. The status detection circuit is configured to obtain status information of the optical signal based on the first parameter, where the status information of the optical signal is output via the electrical signal interface circuit.
