Abstract: Example data transmission methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes obtaining at least two signature sequences used to perform multiple access for at least two to-be-sent data packets by a user equipment. The user equipment processes the at least two data packets by respectively using corresponding signature sequences, to obtain at least two transmit sequences. The user equipment sends the at least two transmit sequences to a network device on a same time-frequency resource. Then the network device obtains the at least two signature sequences used by the user equipment to send the at least two transmit sequences, and separately detects a corresponding transmit sequence based on each signature sequence, to obtain the at least two data packets. The user equipment can transmit a plurality of data packets on a same time-frequency resource in a same slot.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a data processing method, a network device, and a terminal. In this method, a transmit end combines basic modulation symbols obtained after basic modulation is performed on all layers of data, to obtain a combined symbol vector X. The transmit end maps the symbol vector X to Q resource elements to obtain a data vector S. A symbol quantity of the symbol vector X is greater than a symbol quantity of the data vector S. The symbol quantity of the data vector S is Q. Q is a positive integer. Therefore, non-orthogonal spreading and superposition transmission of a plurality of terminals can be implemented in both uplink and downlink, thereby effectively improving transmission efficiency.

Abstract: A data transmission method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: modulating, based on a codebook, every N information bits of to-be-transmitted data into one M-dimensional modulation symbol, where the codebook is generated based on an M-dimensional modulation constellation, the M-dimensional modulation constellation includes M modulation constellations, a constellation point in an mth modulation constellation in the M modulation constellations is obtained by mapping N information bits based on an mth information bit subset, the mth information bit subset includes information bits on some locations in the N information bits, and a union set of M information bit subsets respectively corresponding to the M modulation constellations is the N information bits, where M and N are integers greater than or equal to 2, and m is 1, 2, . . . , or M; and sending the generated M-dimensional modulation symbol. The technical solutions can reduce complexity when a modulation signal is demodulated.
