Abstract: This application provides a file access right authentication method and an electronic device, and relates to the field of communications technologies, so that right authentication can be performed on an access request for accessing a file in a system. This improves system security of the electronic device and protects user data. The method includes: receiving, by the electronic device, a file access request (501), where the file access request is used to request to access a first file on the electronic device; next, obtaining a first process identifier in the file access request, and determining first fixed identity information corresponding to the first process identifier (502); and finally, matching the first fixed identity information with authorized fixed identity information corresponding to the first file (503), and when the matching succeeds, determining that authentication of the file access request succeeds (505).

Abstract: In a method for deleting a cascaded snapshot, a storage device includes a logical volume corresponding to a plurality of cascaded snapshots. The plurality of cascaded snapshots comprises at least a first snapshot, a second snapshot, and a third snapshot. The second snapshot is a parent snapshot of the first snapshot, the third snapshot being a child snapshot of the first snapshot. The storage device receives an instruction for deleting the first snapshot. The first snapshot comprises target data. The storage device migrates information of the target data to the second snapshot. Further, the storage device sets a parent snapshot identifier corresponding to the third snapshot to an identifier of the second snapshot, and deletes the first snapshot.

Abstract: The present technology relates to a file processing method. The file processing method can includes a first terminal device receiving an encrypted file from a second terminal device. The first terminal device stores the encrypted file. The first terminal device receives an access instruction for the encrypted file. The first terminal device obtains a current security state. When the current security state is higher than or equal to a first security state, the first terminal device decrypts the file by using a decryption key. It can be learned that according to the method, after the first terminal device receives the encrypted file, the first terminal device decrypts the file by using the decryption key only when a security state is high.
