Abstract: A network device obtains computing power information indicating computing power of a compute node corresponding to the network device. The network device generates an application-layer traffic optimization ALTO message that carries the computing power information. The network device sends the ALTO message to a second network device based on an ALTO protocol. This method can improve resource and network utilization and improve user experience.
