Abstract: The technology of this application relates to a downlink signal processing method and apparatus. The method includes a terminal device receiving first indication information from a network device, and determining at least one first resource block group and at least one second resource block group based on the first indication information, where the first indication information indicates the at least one first resource block group and/or the at least one second resource block group. The method further includes performing demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port detection, where a quantity of times of DMRS port detection on each of the at least one first resource block group is greater than or equal to a first preset value, and a quantity of times of DMRS port detection on each of the at least one second resource block group is less than the first preset value.
