Abstract: This application discloses a network topology discovery method and a node device. In this application, a root node device sends a link discovery message to a child node device through a first port; receives a link discovery acknowledge message sent by the child node device through a second port of the child node device, where the link discovery acknowledge message includes an identifier of the child node device and an identifier of the second port; and determines a first link based on the link discovery acknowledge message, where the first link is a link between the first port and the second port. According to the solutions of this application, when detecting that a link of a port is connected, the node device discovers an existing topology relationship through message interaction, so as to implement network topology discovery.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, a system locate an IPTV fault, where the method includes: performing synchronized evaluation on a monitored IPTV video stream according to a synchronization message, obtaining multiple corresponding local upstream evaluation results; receiving an evaluation result report message sent by a downstream monitoring point, where the evaluation result report message includes a downstream evaluation result, an evaluation result identifier, and synchronization packet information; finding, according to the synchronization packet information and the evaluation result identifier in the evaluation result report message sent by the downstream monitoring point, an upstream evaluation result corresponding to the downstream evaluation result; comparing the downstream evaluation result with the upstream evaluation result, and performing fault locating according to a result of the comparison. The present disclosure implements IPTV fault locating, saves costs of manpower and material resources, and improves efficiency in fault locating.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a data transmission method, a communications device, and a storage medium, to reduce pressure caused by a quantity of cross connections between intermediate nodes to the intermediate nodes in a network. In an embodiment of this application, a first communications device obtains Q first code block streams, and obtains a to-be-sent second code block stream based on the Q first code block streams. Q downlink ports are in a one-to-one correspondence with the Q first code block streams, the Q downlink ports correspond to S code block groups, one code block in the Q first code block streams corresponds to one code block group, and the second code block stream obtained by the first communications device includes L code block sets; and for each of the L code block sets, the code block set includes K code blocks corresponding to each of the S code block groups. In the solutions provided in this embodiment of this application, code block streams are multiplexed at a code block granularity, so that a quantity of cross connections between intermediate nodes in a network can be reduced, thereby reducing pressure on network management and operation and maintenance.
