The present disclosure discloses a data transmission device and method and a communication system. The data transmission device provided in the present disclosure is located on an IP metropolitan area network node or on an optical line terminal of a radio access network and includes: a first service bypass processing module, configured to receive uplink packet service data sent by a user equipment, determine, according to a preset service distribution policy, that the uplink packet service data needs distribution, and directly send the uplink packet service data to a public data network PDN through a locally preset Gi interface; and/or a second service bypass processing module, configured to directly receive, through the Gi interface, downlink packet service data sent by the PDN to the UE and send the downlink packet service data to the UE.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for data transmission, which is used to increase resource utilization. The method according to the embodiments of the present invention includes: receiving, by a media processing device, a service request sent by a user equipment, where the media processing device is located at a radio access network where the user equipment is located; obtaining, by the media processing device, service data corresponding to the service request; obtaining, by the media processing device, air interface resource information of a cell where the user equipment is located and transmission resource information; and performing, by the media processing device, content adaptation and bit rate selection on the service data according to the obtained air interface resource information and transmission resource information. The embodiments of the present invention further disclose a system and a relevant device for data transmission.

A base station includes multiple edge nodes and a central node. The edge nodes are configured to perform communication with a user equipment, and execute baseband processing and mutual conversion between baseband data and radio data, in which the multiple edge nodes belong to one or more edge node groups, and each edge node group includes at least one edge node. The central node is configured to perform communication with the multiple edge nodes, manage the multiple edge nodes, and perform resource sharing so that resources are shared by the multiple edge nodes. The base station is divided into two levels of architecture, namely, a central node and an edge node, and the central node implements resource sharing so that resources are shared by the edge nodes, so that a resource sharing degree in the base station is enhanced.

The embodiments of the present invention relate to communication technologies and disclose a method, a device, and a system for intercutting advertisements according to User Equipment (user terminal) information to improve user experience and effectiveness of advertisement intercutting. The method includes: receiving a service request sent by a user terminal and forwarded by a Radio Access Network (RAN) network element, and obtaining a service corresponding to the service request; obtaining user terminal information from the RAN network element; and determining a corresponding advertisement according to the user terminal information, and sending the obtained service and the determined advertisement to the user terminal through the RAN network element. The embodiments of the present invention are applicable to precise intercut of advertisements.
