Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a sensing method, a communication apparatus, and a communication system. The sensing method is applied to a first communication apparatus. The sensing method includes: sending a first sensing signal, where the first sensing signal includes first sub-signals in N periods, a first sub-signal in an nth period is a signal obtained by performing phase modulation on a second sub-signal based on an nth element in a first sequence, N is a positive integer greater than 0, n=1, 2, . . . , N, and the first sequence is a binary sequence that includes N elements.
