Abstract: A device and method for examining a USB port of a test apparatus are characterized in that before a functional test is performed, with the test apparatus, on an electronic product equipped with a USB interface, the device including a USB connector, a connecting unit, and an alerting unit is connected to the USB port of the test apparatus so as to examine the power supply status of the USB port of the test apparatus. Accordingly, the electronic product equipped with the USB interface is efficiently protected against damage which might otherwise arise from unstable power supply to or an error in the USB port of the test apparatus during the ensuing functional test.
