Abstract: The present application discloses a backlight module and a display device. The backlight module includes a base, a light emission assembly, and a light guide plate. The light emission assembly includes light emission units disposed on a first side of a base. The light guide plate is disposed on the first side of the base. The light guide plate includes first light diffusing portions, and each of the first light diffusing portions accommodates at least one of the light emission units to diffuse light emitted from the light emission unit.
