Abstract: A water extractor for use in an environmental control system includes a housing having an inlet end and an outlet end. A fog harvester assembly is mounted within the housing at a location between the inlet end and the outlet end. The fog harvester assembly includes at least one fog harvester insert having a condensing material including plurality of wires arranged in a wire array. At least one of the plurality of wires has a spiral configuration.
