    摘要： An improved dental floss device, having a new method of delivering flavor and actives to the oral cavity. The dental floss device consists of a dental floss holder and a handle, which are coupled together for a snap-fit connection. The dental floss holder having the floss insert molded in, contains at least one cavity that can be filled with flavors and/or chemotherapeutic agents. Saliva from the user's mouth activates the release of the soluble flavor agent as well as the chemotherapeutic agents, when the floss is passed between teeth. The cavity may also be subdivided to allow for substances that would normally react with each other to be mixed as the flossing device is being used.
