摘要： To provide a timepiece in which it has been made possible to exchange an edge member, to which a glass has been fixed, without accompanying a case band. A wristwatch comprises an annular case band, a case back, an annular edge member, a glass, and a C-shaped spring member. A front side end part of the case band forming a fitting hole has an edge receiving face around the fitting hole and an engaging groove. The case back is detachably attached to a back side end part of the case band. The glass is fitted and fixed to an annular step part having been formed in the edge member. In the edge member there are provided a tubular part fitted to the fitting hole so as to be capable of being inserted and disengaged, and a cover part overlapping with the edge receiving face. In the tubular part there are provided an annular attaching groove opening to an inner periphery of the tubular part, and plural through-holes communicating with the annular attaching groove and opening to an outer periphery of the tubular part. The spring member has plural catching convex parts catching to the engaging groove through the through-hole. By detachably attaching this spring member to the attaching groove under a state that the case back 31 has been detached, the edge member is detachably attached to the case band.

摘要： To provide a timepiece in which a position alignment of a bezel is easy, and a position-aligned bezel can be made so as not to be carelessly rotated. A portable timepiece possesses a case band, an annular bezel, a click member, a coil spring, and a lock member. In the case band, there are provided an annular bezel disposition groove opening upward and to an outer periphery face, and an accommodation hole extending in a vertical direction while opening to a bottom face of this groove. Bezel is disposed, while being fitted to the disposition groove, so as to be rotatable in both directions of a clockwise direction and a counterclockwise direction in regard to the case band. A click member engaging with and disengaging from an engagement part comprising plural irregularities juxtaposed in a rotation direction in a back face of the bezel facing on the bottom face is accommodated in the accommodation hole so as to be vertically movable. In the accommodation hole, there are accommodated the spring pushing the click member to the engagement part, and the lock member. The lock member moves between a retention position retaining the click member to a state in which this member engages with the engagement part and a retracted position allowing a click operation of the click member, by an operation from an outside of the case band.

A tubular part of the edge member is removably inserted in a hole in the case band. An annular engaging groove in the case band communicates with an annular attaching groove in the tubular part through plural through-holes in the edge member tubular part. A C-shaped spring member is fitted in the attaching groove in a compressed state and has plural convex parts that extend through respective through-holes into the engaging groove to releasably secure the edge member to the case band.

Upward engagement convex portions of the ring member have contact parts placed near an outer peripheral surface of the ring member. The hour plate has a plurality of interposition portions and a plurality of convex portion accommodation grooves opened to the peripheral surface thereof. The interposition portions divide the convex portion accommodation grooves, come into close contact with the contact parts in the state of being elastically deformed, and interpose the engagement convex portions therebetween along a direction perpendicular to a radial direction of the ring member. The convex portion accommodation grooves are housed in the respective engagement convex portions, and the hour plate is attached to the ring member.

摘要： To provide a portable timepiece in which water is not easily allowed to enter the timepiece exterior assembly with the completion of venting, the timepiece is equipped with a vent valve mounted to a timepiece exterior assembly. The vent valve is equipped with a valve body holder fixed to the timepiece exterior assembly, a ring-shaped packing supported by the holder and elastically deformable, and a valve body movable between a valve-closed position and a valve-open position. The valve body has a valve body shaft portion, a valve body head integral with this shaft portion, and an exhaust recess formed in the valve body shaft portion. The valve body shaft portion axially extends through the valve body holder while in contact with the inner peripheral portion of the packing. Through movement of the valve body, the exhaust recess is detached from the packing at the valve-closed position, and, at the valve-open position, the exhaust recess is arranged so as to be astride and cross apart of the inner peripheral portion of the packing.

摘要： A portable timepiece has a timepiece exterior assembly with a button mounting hole having seal surfaces and escape portions. An exhaust button has a shaft portion and a button portion connected to the shaft portion and configured to be pushed inward from an exterior of the assembly. An urging member is provided between the button portion and the assembly for urging the exhaust button toward the exterior of the assembly. Seal members are mounted to the shaft portion in correspondence with the seal surfaces. The seal members undergo movement between a sealing position in which they are held in contact with the respective seal surfaces with interference through axial reciprocation of the exhaust button, and an exhaust position in which the seal members are opposed to the respective escape portions. In the sealing position, the seal members define a closed space formed by the shaft portion and the escape portions.

A case back is detachably attached to a back side end part of the case band. An annular edge member seats on a front surface of the front side end part and has a tubular part removably inserted into the front opening of the case and, the tubular part having an annular attaching groove that opens to an outer periphery of the tubular part, and a glass is fixed to the edge member. An elastically deformable open-ended snap ring is detachably attached to the attaching groove in an elastically deformed state, and the snap ring abuts a back surface of the front side end part of the case band so that the front side end part is held between the edge member and the snap ring. The snap ring is detachable from the attaching groove when elastically expanded by a tool inserted from the back side of the case band to enable removal of the edge member and glass as a unit from the case band for repair or replacement.

摘要： A watch has a crown threadedly locked to a stem pipe mounted to a barrel. The barrel has a pipe installation hole and a threaded hole that extends perpendicular to and in communication with the pipe installation hole. The stem pipe has an insertion portion and a barrel outside protruding portion. The insertion portion is inserted in the pipe installation hole such that the insertion portion can be withdrawn from outside the barrel. The barrel outside protruding portion is disposed outside the barrel and has an external thread to which the crown is removably threaded. An engaging recessed portion is formed in the outer surface of the insertion portion. An annular waterproof packing is sandwiched between the pipe installation hole and the insertion portion. A mounting screw is threaded into the threaded hole so as to be removable back and forth. A front-end portion of the mounting screw is inserted in the engaging recessed portion to hold the stem pipe to the barrel.
