The guard pattern and the electric conductor are spaced from each other by a distance of 2 mm or less. The guard pattern has a width of 1 mm or more.

One of the antenna conductors is RF-coupled with the defogging heater wires and a feed terminal thereof is located at a lateral side of the glass. One antenna element extends clockwise about the center of the window glass and the other antenna element extends counterclockwise thereabout from their corresponding feed points. The characteristics of both antenna elements significantly differ and complement each other. It is convenient for a diversity reception system. An auxiliary element branches from one antenna element to extend along the other antenna element. The auxiliary element compensates for impedance characteristics of the antenna elements to tune up reception characteristics thereof.

In a preferred embodiment, a capacitor is connected across the power supply lines at a position between the choke coils and the heating conductor to minimize the loss or leakage of radio signals from the heating conductor through the choke coils. A symmetrical pair of wires coupled with each other is formed on the glass window and connected to ends of the heating conductor to improve a radio wave reception gain.
