Abstract:
The invention relates to a female part of a coupling for fixing a dental prothesis in the mouth. It comprises a casing 5 having a central void 7,8 provided with a shoulder 9. A contact piece 10 of synthetic ruby has a waisted aperture defining a fixing edge 11 of smaller diameter. This contact piece 10 is maintained against the shoulder 9 through a fixing ring 12 welded to the casing 5.
Abstract:
The T-attachment in dovetail form comprises a patrix (1) mounted in the remainder of the teeth, as well as a matrix (2). The matrix (2) has no internal core but rather consists of a shell form making it possible, in the manufacture of the removable prosthesis by the casting method, to establish connection between the matrix (2) and the prosthesis by filling the shell form (3) with a casting material. The T-attachment is usable as dental anchoring for the attachment of dental prostheses to crowns, pivot teeth, bridges, and splint elements.
Abstract:
A dental attachment for fixing a dental prosthesis to healthy teeth comprising a male portion 1 which is rigidly fixed to a living tooth and a female portion 2 which is fixed to the dental prosthesis, the male portion 1 comprising two pins 8 which are intended to be engaged and sealed by one of their ends in holes in a living tooth, the other end of the pins 8 having a heel portion 9 which is retained in a recess 5 provided in a male connecting member by means of a plate 6 having a T-shaped slot 7 through which the pins 8 extend, the thickness of a head portion 9 of the pins 8 being less than the depth of the recess 5, the male portion 1 also having a coupling portion 10 comprising three frustoconical drillings 11, 12, 13 having their axes parallel, the drillings 11, 12, 13 flaring outwardly upwardly and being disposed in a triangular configuration.
Abstract:
An implantable dental support structure has a plurality of identical posts each having an end forming a seat and each formed with a bore opening at the seat and respective female elements each having a ball head shaped to fit in the post seat, internally formed with a ball cavity, traversed by a main bore, formed with a laterally open side bore, and also having a stem projecting from the head in general alignment with the side bore but opposite thereto and formed with a socket open away from the head. Respective male elements each have a ball head shaped to fit complementarily in a respective one of the female element cavities and formed with a throughgoing bore alignable with the main bore of the respective female element, and also have a bar projecting from the respective ball head out of the respective cavity through the respective side bore and into the socket of an adjacent female element stem. Respective screws on each post each project through the main bores of the respective female and male element ball heads and are seated in the respective post bore.
Abstract:
A dental attachment for fixing a dental prosthesis to healthy teeth comprising a male portion 1 which is rigidly fixed to a healthy tooth and a female portion 2 which is rigidly fixed to the dental prosthesis, the male portion 1 comprising two independent pins 7 which are intended to be engaged and sealed in a hole formed in a living tooth, and which have a spherical head 8, and the male portion further comprises a coupling portion 3 having an opening 5 which opens at a lower face and by way of an aperture 6 at its lateral face, the assembly being so arranged that the spherical coupling heads 8 of the pins 7 may be housed and sealed in the opening 5, the pins 7 extending from the coupling portion 3 through said aperture 6, the female portion 2 then being connected to the male portion 1.
