Mandrel diameter at the end conically widens or narrows, and/or the mandrel end is curved so the diameter widens, narrows, or remains constant, and the inner sheath diameter at the end conically widens, narrows, or remains constant, and/or the sheath end is curved so the diameter widens or narrows, or two further surface sections, parallel and cylindrical, extend at the mandrel and sheath end.

    摘要: A calibration device for calibrating extruded continuous profiles, in particular tubes, includes a plurality of successively arranged segment rings comprised of individual segments whose internal surfaces jointly form a calibration opening. Successively axially arranged segments are assembled in the form of a segment block. The individual segments of each segment block are arranged on a support structure, and the segment blocks are arranged, in an essentially circular form, in a housing in such a way that the axially adjacent segments partially overlap each other at each position thereof in a circumferential direction. Each support structure is connected to at least one mounting and operating device. The individual segment blocks which are associated to the support structures thereof are fixed to the housing with the aid of the mounting and operating device, and the adjustment of each segment block is carried out in an axial direction. In order to facilitate the installation and assembly, each mounting and operating device is divided into two parts, wherein a first part is connected to the support structure and a second part is received in the housing, and the two parts are connected with one another in a separable manner.

The segment bodies are held and adjusted in radial direction by actuators to thereby allow change in dimension of the sizing opening, wherein each of the segment bodies is operatively connected to at least one of the actuators. The actuators are received and aligned in at least one mounting ring which has a number of radial bores spaced from one another in circumferential direction at a number corresponding to a number of segment bodies.
