    摘要: For transmitting data between a node (100) of a mobile network and a further node (200), the further node sends downlink data packets to the node (100) of the mobile network. The downlink data packets carry a destination address corresponding to a user equipment (10) connected to the mobile network. For implementing an inband data channel between the node (100) of the mobile network and the further node (200), the further node (200) inserts data destined to the node (100) of the mobile network into at least one of the downlink data packets and marks this downlink data packet as including data destined to the node (100) of the mobile network. The node (100) of the mobile network receives the downlink data packets from the further node (200) and identities, on the basis of the marking, the least one downlink data packet including data destined to the node (100) of the mobile network. The node (100) of the mobile network then extracts the data from the identified downlink data packet. A corresponding inband data channel may also be used in the uplink direction.

    摘要: For transmitting data between a node (100) of a mobile network and a further node (200), the further node sends downlink data packets to the node (100) of the mobile network. The downlink data packets carry a destination address corresponding to a user equipment (10) connected to the mobile network. For implementing an inband data channel between the node (100) of the mobile network and the further node (200), the further node (200) inserts data destined to the node (100) of the mobile network into at least one of the downlink data packets and marks this downlink data packet as including data destined to the node (100) of the mobile network. The node (100) of the mobile network receives the downlink data packets from the further node (200) and identities, on the basis of the marking, the least one downlink data packet including data destined to the node (100) of the mobile network. The node (100) of the mobile network then extracts the data from the identified downlink data packet. A corresponding inband data channel may also be used in the uplink direction.

    摘要: For controlling data traffic in a mobile network a first detector (110), a first controller (160), a second detector (120), and a second controller (170) are provided. The first detector (110) detects data traffic of a certain type. The first controller (160) determines a dedicated bearer (54) for transmission of the detected data traffic. The second detector (120) detects a packet flow in the data traffic. The second controller (170) takes a decision whether the detected packet flow can be admitted to the dedicated bearer (54). The decision is taken on the basis of traffic load information (135), e.g., as determined by a load monitor (130). The second detector (120) further marks data packets of the detected packet flow according to the decision.

A flow processing core classifies packet flows and defines processing flow sequences applicable to the packet flows. A distributing arrangement directs the packet flows to appropriate functional units or processors according to each packet flow's applicable processing flow sequence. The current position of each packet flow in its respective processing flow sequence is indicated. Packet flow sequence information may be determined so that reclassification of already classified packets is avoided.
