摘要: A sheet post-processing apparatus includes: a sheet stack tray; a rear-end-position regulating member, against which a rear end of the sheet on the tray is butted to align a position of the sheet in a sheet conveying direction to the stack tray, the rear end of the sheet being a rear end in the conveying direction; and a roller member that comes in contact with an upper surface of the sheet conveyed to an upper side of the tray, before the sheet is stacked on a stacking surface on the tray, and conveys the sheet stacked on the stacking surface toward the rear-end-position regulating member, wherein a rotation speed before stacking is set to be smaller than a rotation speed after stacking, and the rotation speed of before stacking is greater than zero.

摘要: A sheet processing device for pressing a fold line formed in a sheet, the sheet processing device comprises a pressing portion configured to press a sheet while rotating about a rotation axis. The pressing portion includes a pressing unit having a projecting shape, disposed over a predetermined range in a direction of the rotation axis to have a position in a rotation direction about the rotation axis changed according to the direction of the rotation axis, and an impact absorbing member provided at a part of the pressing unit of the pressing portion, abutting on the sheet at first in the rotation direction of the pressing portion, the impact absorbing member configured to reduce impact upon abutting on the sheet.

摘要: A sheet feeder includes an ejection tray, an ejector, an aligner, a pressing member, a friction member, and a switching device. The ejection tray stacks sheets. The ejector ejects a sheet to the ejection tray. The aligner is disposed downstream of the ejector in a direction of ejection of the sheet. The aligner is rotatable in a normal direction and a reverse direction. The pressing member applies pressure between the sheet and the aligner to enable the aligner to convey the sheet by rotation in the normal direction and the reverse direction. The friction member contacts the sheet ejected on the ejection tray to prevent conveyance of the sheet. The switching device switches contact and separation of the friction member with respect to the sheet.

摘要: A sheet feeding device feeds a sheet in a feed direction. The sheet feeding device includes a loading portion, a feeler, and a first detection sensor. The sheet is to be placed on the loading portion. The feeler rotates from a reference position to a pushed position around a support shaft in response to a push by a downstream end of the sheet, which is placed on the loading portion, in the feeding direction. The first detection sensor detects a rotation of the feeler from one of the reference position and the pushed position to the other of the reference position and the pushed position. The loading portion includes a second detection sensor to detect a state in which the sheet is placed on the loading portion.
