摘要： An opening-closing device includes a fixed gear of a fixed body, a conversion gear engaged with the fixed gear, a movable gear of a movable body, and a relay gear engaged with the conversion gear and with the movable gear, all of which are attached to a locking plate. The movable body can be held at a predetermined angle with respect to the fixed body by making an engaging portion in the locking plate is contacted with a locking portion in the fixed body and by making the conversion gear move to another position when the movable body is opened at the predetermined angle with respect to the fixed body. Moving the conversion gear to another position makes it possible to perform opening and closing operations in a greater angle. Thus, the opening-closing device can have a simple structure and perform a variety of opening and closing operations.

摘要： An opening and closing device which includes a roughly cylindrical stator, a concavo-convex stator cam provided at an end of the stator, a ring-like rotor rotatably disposed relative to the stator, a rotor cam opposedly protruding from an inner periphery or outer periphery of the rotor, and a spring pushing the rotor against the stator. The rotor cam slides on the concavo-convex stator cam during the opening and closing operations. In this structure, the opening and closing device is openable roughly up to 180°, and a force in the opening direction is applied to a movable housing even when the movable housing is opened not less than 165°. Accordingly, this opening and closing device eliminates wobbling in the opening and closing direction, and ensures reliable opening and closing operations and retention at a predetermined angle.

摘要： An opening and closing device to be used in a variety of electronic apparatuses is disclosed, and the opening and closing device can be manufactured at a low cost and ensures a positive opening/closing action. After the reversing cam moves along an axial line, a movable cam protruding on an inner wall of a ring-like movable unit elastically urges against a reversing cam. While the movable cam is held at a given angle, the movable cam elastically urges against the reversing cam and rotates, so that a stationary unit needs no stationary cam during this given angle being kept. The stationary unit thus needs the stationary cam on its outer wall only in part but not entirely. As a result, the stationary unit can be manufactured with ease by forming process.
