    摘要: A vehicle-mounted electronic apparatus includes a case having an opening on the front surface thereof, a face that moves from an ordinary orientation which is vertical or oblique in front of the case to an accommodated orientation in which the face is accommodated within the case, a manipulation member disposed on the manipulation surface of the face so as to face forward when the face is in the ordinary orientation, and an orientation variable means for circularly moving the face from the ordinary orientation to the accommodated orientation and for drawing the face into the case through the opening. The manipulation member is supported by the face so as to be free to advance and retract, so that the amount of projection thereof from the manipulation surface changes. When the face is circularly moved from the ordinary orientation to the horizontal orientation a retracting mechanism retracts the manipulation member by the relative moving force between the orientation variable means and the face so that the amount of projection of the manipulation member from the manipulation surface is reduced. With the above arrangement, when the face is in its ordinary orientation outside the case, the amount of projection of the manipulation member is set to a large amount L1. When the face circularly moves from the vertical orientation to the horizontal orientation, the retracting mechanism is operated whereby the amount of projection of the manipulation member is reduced to a smaller amount L2. Therefore, when the face having the horizontal orientation is accommodated within the case, the manipulation member does not come into contact with the edge of the opening, and the like.

    摘要: An electronic device mounting structure, which allows threaded engagement with a standardized male screw compliant with the JIS, DIN or the like without having to perform tapping on a plate material, includes an engagement hole having first and second cutouts formed in a peripheral edge section thereof, wherein the peripheral edge section of the engagement hole is deformed in the plate thickness direction such that there is a positional deviation from a first peripheral edge end section bordering on the first cutout toward a second peripheral edge section bordering on the second cutout by approximately one half of the pitch of a standardized male screw compliant with the JIS and a further positional deviation from a third peripheral edge end section bordering on the second cutout toward a fourth peripheral edge end section bordering on the first cutout by approximately one half of the pitch, with the result that there is a positional deviation corresponding to one pitch of the male screw between the first and fourth peripheral edge end sections on opposite sides of the first cutout, thereby making it possible for the male screw compliant with the JIS to be threadedly engaged with the engagement hole. The provision of two cutouts in the engagement hole makes it possible for the peripheral edge section to be deformed with high accuracy.

    摘要: An in-car electronic device with an anti-theft feature overcomes shortcomings of a conventional in-car electronic device with an anti-theft feature in which a face provided on a front surface of a casing is detached and carried out of a car. In the conventional type, the face carried out may be lost or left somewhere. The in-car electronic device in accordance with the present invention has an opening in a front panel of a casing, and the face in a regular position on the front of the front panel is circularly moved in a horizontal direction and retracted in the casing through the opening. In the retracted position, a bottom edge of the face is flush with a face detaching surface of the front panel. This arrangement makes it look as if the face had been removed from the face detaching surface.

    摘要: Sorghum millet stalks are defibrated and refined into fibers, after which, a cohesive material is admixed with such sorghum millet fibers so as to provide a lump of initially cohered sorghum millet fibers, which is then shaped in the form of a mat. This mat is subjected to a press working process so that a desired shape or uneven shape of panel is produced. During the press working process, the cohesive material is compressed and changed into a state where is acts as a bonding agent to strongly cohere the sorghum millet fibers integrally together. Together with the cohesive material, a bonding material may be admixed with the sorghum millet fibers. Thus, it is possible to obtain a sorghum millet fiber panel which has a strength enough for usual use as with other panels and boards.

    摘要: A front panel apparatus improves aesthetic qualities while avoiding interference between a display panel and a surrounding member. The front panel apparatus includes a display panel capable of pivoting in opening and closing directions, power transmission mechanisms that operate in tandem with the opening and closing operations of the display panel, and a lock mechanism that locks the display panel in a closed state and unlocks the display panel. Each power transmission mechanism includes a biasing lever linked to the rear surface of the display panel and capable of advancing and withdrawing, a driving gear, a pivot lever provided on a driving gear and linked to the biasing lever, an intermediate gear that interlocks with the driving gear, and a rack member that interlocks with the intermediate gear and is capable of ascending and descending. The rack members support corresponding pivot support shafts of the display panel. When the driving gears rotate in tandem with the opening and closing operations of the display panel, the intermediate gears rotate and drive the rack members, and the pivot support shafts ascend and descend as a result.
