    摘要： An electromotive variable-speed and control drive particularly for use in industrial sewing machines and comprising a coupling coil casing radially surrounding a coupling-brake disk and a brake coil casing radially relocated towards the center. Both are positioned in the brake end shield. In order to avoid a sticking of the coupling-brake disk with high alternations and a delay of the break-down and build-up of the magnetic fields, a brake coil casing has been relocated radially so near to the center that it is situated within the brake pad in front of the armature ring. On the other hand, there is an undercut and a recess at the coupling coil casing and a recess at the disk flywheel which assures that no axial forces can occur at the radial gaps.

    摘要： A convertible sewing machine bed which includes a base having a longitudinally extending cylinder bed and a spring biased work supporting panel that is movable in one direction with respect to the arm and simultaneously shiftable in another direction with respect to the cylinder bed. The shifting movement is effected by the camming action of a single latch detent being moved into and out of a latch seat. The single latch detent and the latch seat, when in engaging relation, also serve to hold the support member in a work supporting position contiguous to the cylinder bed.

    摘要： In an electric motor regulating and control drive, especially for industrial sewing machines, a clutch-brake disk is mounted for co-rotation on an output shaft and has a clutch facing which can be brought into engagement with a clutch surface of a flywheel of the corresponding motor, and has a brake facing which can be brought into engagement with a brake surface of a brake-bearing plate. In order to achieve by simple means an effective suppression of impact noises when a braking action is initiated, at least the brake facing is mounted with damping with respect to the armature ring of the clutch-brake disk. It is preferably thrust against the armature ring by means of at least one annular spring.

    摘要： A vandal resistant push button assembly has a guide ring attached to a mounting plate spaced from a face plate such as an indicating and announcing device or a modular wall assembly of an elevator car. The guide ring has a first shoulder which cooperates with a snap ring engaging a first annular groove formed in the guide ring for retaining the ring in an opening formed in the mounting plate. There is play between the periphery of the opening in the mounting plate and the outer diameter of the guide ring such that the guide ring can be aligned with respect to an opening in the face plate and the snap will cover the gap defined by the play. A push button slidably extends through the guide rings on first and second guide surfaces to actuate a switch and a second shoulder formed on the push button engages a stop surface on the guide ring to prevent further travel in the actuation direction. Spring forces originating from the switch press the push button forward to a rest position at which a spring clip engaging a second groove formed in the push button abuts an end of the guide ring. In this position, a seamless spherical surface is formed by the push button and the guide ring at the face plate.
