Abstract: A display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a display medium layer, a sealant, a first film layer, a first protection pattern, and a first alignment layer. The display medium layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The sealant is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and surrounds the display medium layer. The first film layer is disposed on the first substrate between the first substrate and the display medium layer. The first protection pattern is disposed between the first film layer and the sealant. The first alignment layer is disposed on the first substrate between the first film layer and the display medium layer. The first protection pattern is in contact with the sealant and exposed by the first alignment layer. The first protection pattern and the first alignment layer are both in contact with the first film layer.
