    摘要: Provided is a pigment dispersing composition for a color filter including a color material, a resin, and an organic solvent which may dissolve the resin, wherein a modified pigment (D) is contained as the color material which includes, on the surface of a pigment (A), a polymer (P) obtained by polymerizing a polymer (B) containing a polymerizable unsaturated group soluble in a non-aqueous solvent and at least one type of polymerizable unsaturated monomer (C) which is soluble in the non-aqueous solvent and becomes either insoluble or poorly soluble following polymerization, alternatively wherein a modified pigment (D) is contained as the color material which is obtained, under the presence of a pigment (A), a non-aqueous solvent, and a polymer (B) containing a polymerizable unsaturated group soluble in the non-aqueous solvent, by polymerizing at least one type of polymerizable unsaturated monomer (C).

    摘要: The present invention provides a color filter which is more durable than a dye-type color filter and also has green pixel portions which exhibit a bright green color having a strong yellowish tinge when used in a liquid crystal display device using a three-band lamp having a main emission line of green light of about 545 nm as a light source, thus enabling the liquid crystal display device to display bright images even when using a backlighting light source having a low intensity. This color filter comprises green pixel portions which (1) contain a halogenated metal phthalocyanine dye wherein 8 to 16 halogen atoms are bonded to benzene rings in one phthalocyanine molecule, and (2) exhibit maximum transmittance at a wavelength within a range from 520 nm to 590 nm with respect to the transmission spectra of the entire range of visible light.

    摘要: The invention relates to a process for producing a polymerized toner, including the step of polymerizing a polymerizable monomer composition containing at least a polymerizable monomer and a colorant in an aqueous medium. After polymerization, an aqueous dispersion containing polymer particles formed is subjected to stripping under reduced pressure in an evaporator after polymerization. At this time, the aqueous dispersion within the evaporator is continuously taken out of the evaporator and heated in an external heat exchanger, and the heated aqueous dispersion is returned to a liquid phase within the evaporator and subjected to stripping under reduced pressure within the evaporator while circulating the aqueous dispersion, thereby distilling off volatile organic compounds. By the production process, a polymerized toner markedly reduced in the content of a residual polymerizable monomer and having excellent properties is provided.
