    摘要: A spark plug and cylinder head assembly includes a spark plug and a cylinder head of an engine. The cylinder head has a bore and a surface which faces a combustion chamber of the engine and on which the bore opens. The spark plug is fit in the bore of the cylinder head, and includes a metal shell, an insulator retained in the metal shell, a center electrode secured in the insulator, and a ground electrode facing the center electrode through a spark gap. An end surface of the metal shell has an outer edge and an inner edge, and tapers from the outer edge to the inner edge in a direction toward the inside of an air pocket formed between the metal shell and the insulator. The outer edge of the end surface of the metal shell protrudes from the surface of the cylinder head into the combustion chamber.

    摘要: A spark plug and cylinder head assembly includes a spark plug and a cylinder head of an engine.     摘要: In a high frequency plasma generation system, a magnetic resonance section is provided as a frequency multiplier section between a discharge circuit and a power booster circuit. The magnetic resonance section extracts from a fundamental wave of a predetermined frequency generated by a frequency generator higher harmonic components, which are multiplied waves of the predetermined frequency and as high as two or more integer times of the fundamental wave. A resonance frequency of the power booster circuit and a first resonance coil is set to be equal to the frequency of the multiplied wave and match to equal a resonance frequency of the discharge circuit and a second resonance coil of the magnetic resonance section when a discharge electrode and a ground electrode are in a predetermined pressure range.

    摘要: A thermistor type temperature sensor having a substrate made from an electrically insulating ceramic plate. A thin or thick film detecting resistor is printed on the substratum. A thick or thin film pull-up resistor may also be printed on the substratum, and trimming of the resistors is possible. The ratio of B-constant values for the detecting resistor and the pull-up resistor may be selected so that it is locate between 0.4 to 0.9 or 1.1 to 1.5. The detecting resistor may be constructed from thermistor sections of the same composition and the sections may be connected in parallel or in series. The thermistor sensor can be connected to the pipe through which a gas passes. When the sensor is connected to the pipe, the angle of the measuring plane may be adjusted, so that a precise measurement can be obtained.
