摘要： In driving a thin film EL display panel providing the matrix arrangement of translucent data electrodes and metal scanning electrodes, the data pulse is supplied to the selected translucent data electrodes in such a relation that it rises in advance of the scanning pulse to be supplied to the opposing metal scanning electrodes. Thereby, fluctuation of brightness due to the influence of electrode resistance of the translucent data electrodes can be eliminated, and a uniform and distinct display can be attained.
