    Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for processing speech inputs for a controlling one or more vehicle systems of a vehicle. In one embodiment, a method includes: receiving speech input from an audio channel; performing, by a processor, speech recognition on the speech input to obtain recognized results; determining, by a processor, an accuracy level of the audio channel based on a comparison of the recognized results and predictive phraseology; determining, by a processor, an integrity level of the audio channel based on situational awareness information; communicating the recognized results, accuracy level, and the integrity level to a vehicle system; and selectively using the recognized results by the vehicle system based on the accuracy level and the integrity level.

    Abstract: A method comprises providing first and second end systems sharing the same A619 origin and destination codes, wherein the first end system has a first A618 label/sublabel, and the second end system has a second A618 label/sublabel different from the first label/sublabel. When an uplink message is an A618 uplink with the first label/sublabel, the method sends an A619 uplink with A619 destination code via a first end system port. If an uplink message is an A618 uplink with the second label/sublabel, the method sends an A619 uplink with A619 destination code via a second end system port. When downlink message is received with the A619 origin code on the first end system port, the method sends an A618 downlink with the first label/sublabel. If downlink message is received with the A619 origin code on the second end system port, the method sends an A618 downlink with the second label/sublabel.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a method is provided. The method includes selecting, with a communications management system, a first satellite communications (SATCOM) system of a plurality of SATCOM systems as a primary SATCOM system based on user input, received by a human machine interface, that identifies the first SATCOM system as a user-selected SATCOM system. The method further includes automatically switching, with the communications management system, the primary SATCOM system from the first SATCOM system to a second SATCOM system of the plurality of SATCOM systems in response to: a fault status for the first SATCOM system; a loss of channel availability for the first SATCOM system; and/or a failed datalink message transmission for the first SATCOM system. The method further includes establishing a communication link between the primary SATCOM system and a ground station.
