    Abstract: This application relates to the field of terminal device technologies, and provides a vibration motor and a terminal device, to reduce a thickness of a terminal device without sacrificing performance of a vibration motor. The terminal device includes a first screen, a first middle frame, and a vibration motor. At least a part of the first screen is located on one side of the first middle frame and is stacked with the first middle frame. The vibration motor is located on a side that is of the first middle frame and that is away from the at least part of the first screen. The vibration motor includes a housing, one end of the housing is opened to form an opening, the opening faces the first middle frame, and an edge of the housing at the opening is fastened to the first middle frame. The terminal device provided in embodiments of this application is used in a communications system.

    Abstract: A vibration motor and an electronic device are provided. The vibration motor may be applied to electronic devices such as a mobile phone and a PAD. A partial region of a first side wall of a housing of the vibration motor protrudes outward to form a concave cavity with an opening facing a movable component. A driving coil is partially or completely located in the concave cavity. In a case that a same electromagnetic force is achieved, the vibration motor in this application may reduce a height of the driving coil protruding from the opening of the concave cavity as much as possible.

    Abstract: This application discloses a vibration output method and a related apparatus, and relates to the field of terminals. The method includes: An electronic device may obtain a first vibration description file of an application, where the first vibration description file may include one or more vibration frequencies and vibration duration corresponding to each vibration frequency; the electronic device may determine, based on the vibration frequency and the vibration duration corresponding to each vibration frequency, a first vibration identifier corresponding to the first vibration description file; when the electronic device determines that first drive waveform data corresponding to the first vibration identifier exists in local storage space, the electronic device may directly obtain the first drive waveform data from the local storage space; and then the electronic device may output, by using a motor, a corresponding vibration response based on the first drive waveform data.
