Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a mandatory access control (MAC) method and a related device. The method is applied to a security module in an operating system. When the security module works in an enforcing mode, the method includes: When a first subject accesses a first object to perform a first operation, if the security module determines, based on a security policy, that the first subject has no permission to access the first object to perform the first operation, but the first object is configured to be in a permissive mode, the security module may allow the first subject to access the first object and perform the first operation.
