Abstract: An image search method includes an electronic device that receives a search instruction, where the search instruction indicates the electronic device to search for an index term. The electronic device displays a search result page for the index term, where the search result page includes a first view component, and a first thumbnail is displayed in the first view component. The electronic device switches the first thumbnail displayed in the first view component to a second thumbnail when receiving an image switching instruction for the first view component, where both an original image corresponding to the first thumbnail and an original image corresponding to the second thumbnail are from a first web page.
