Abstract: A method, a device, and a system for implementing service path detection are provided. The method is applied to an SRv6 network, and includes: A first network device generates a first packet based on IPv6 and sends the first packet to a second network device, where the first packet includes a first indication and identification information of a service, and the first indication indicates that the first packet is a detection packet; and after receiving the first packet, the second network device detects, based on the first indication and the identification information of the service, a path for carrying the service.
