Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a congestion control method and a related device. A Transmission Control Protocol offload engine TOE sends a congestion control notification to a central processing unit CPU, where the congestion control notification instructs the CPU to obtain a target parameter, and the target parameter is used by the CPU to generate a congestion control calculation result. The TOE obtains the congestion control calculation result returned by the CPU, where the congestion control calculation result includes a congestion control window value. The TOE sends a packet based on the congestion control window value. In this application, the TOE and the CPU implement congestion control together. When a new congestion control algorithm emerges, the new congestion control algorithm may be applied without changing a structure of the TOE. Therefore, in this application, an upgrade period of the congestion control algorithm can be shortened, and flexibility can be improved.

Abstract: A NAT entry management method and a NAT device are disclosed. The method includes: receiving and storing, by a NAT device, a connection parameter, where the connection parameter includes an address of a controller; receiving a packet sent by a network device, where a source address of the packet is a private address of the network device and a destination address of the packet is the address of the controller; performing NAT on the packet, where an after-NAT source address of the packet is a public address; and when a static entry condition is met, generating a target static NAT entry, where the static entry condition includes that the destination address of the packet is the address of the controller. This can prevent aging of the NAT entry from affecting communication between the network device and the controller.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for granting network permission to a terminal include receiving, by an authentication device, a network permission request packet sent by a terminal, granting, by the authentication device, first network permission to the terminal receiving, by the authentication device, a first authentication failure message sent by a server after granting the first network permission to the terminal, and withdrawing, by the authentication device, the first network permission of the terminal based on the first authentication failure message. Therefore, the authentication device can grant the network permission to the terminal before receiving an authentication result sent by the server, and withdraw the network permission in time when receiving the first authentication failure message sent by the server.
