Abstract: A cross-device desktop management method, a first electronic device, and a second electronic device are provided. The cross-device desktop management method is applied to a first electronic device, and includes: sending an access request to a second electronic device, where the access request is used to request to access desktop information of the second electronic device (S101); receiving the desktop information sent by the second electronic device; displaying a desktop of the second electronic device based on the desktop information (S103); receiving an editing operation performed by a user on the desktop of the second electronic device; generating desktop editing information of the second electronic device based on the editing operation, where the desktop editing information is used to edit the desktop of the second device; and sending the desktop editing information to the second electronic device (S104). The foregoing method can implement cross-device desktop management, and provide the user with more efficient and convenient user experience.
