Abstract:
A charging method includes: A charging processing function entity obtains first group information of a LAN group, and performs charging for the LAN group based on the first group information, where the first group information includes an identifier of a customer to which the LAN group belongs, an external group identifier of the LAN group, an internal group identifier of the LAN group, and/or a quantity of members in the LAN group. The charging processing function entity obtains the first group information from a charging enablement function entity; or the charging processing function entity obtains second group information of the LAN group from a management function entity, and obtains the first group information based on the second group information.
Abstract:
A policy and charging rules function (PCRF) device includes a memory storage comprising instructions, at least one network interface, and at least one processor coupled to the memory and to the at least one network interface. The instructions are executed by the at least one processor to receive a policy request of a first user sent by a gateway device; determine, according to the policy request, that the first user needs to use a counter of a second user; acquire a current status of the counter of the second user using a session of the second user established between the PCRF device and a charging system; and generate a control policy of the first user according to the current status of the counter of the second user and send the control policy to the gateway device.
Abstract:
A policy decision method is provided, including receiving, by a policy and charging rules function (PCRF) device, a first user policy request for a first user sent by a gateway device, determining, by the PCRF device, that the first user and a second user share a usage quota, and the second user is an owner user of the usage quota, acquiring, by the PCRF device, a current second user counter status of a second user counter of the second user, and generating, by the PCRF device, a first user control policy according to the current second user counter status and sending the first user control policy to the gateway device. The present invention can implement sharing of accumulated data among users, reduces processing pressure of the charging system, and decreases a performance loss of the charging system.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is applicable to the technical field of computer technology. Disclosed are a resource allocation method and a resource management platform. The method includes: receiving a resource request sent by a resource requester, where the resource request includes resource demand and application feature of a resource; determining a host machine for allocating resources to the resource requester according to the resource request and a resource application feature allocation policy; and controlling the host machine to allocate resources to the resource requester and return resource allocation information to the resource requester, thus solving the problem of degrading performance of host machines as a whole in the prior art caused by hardware resource competition among a plurality of applications which share hardware resources, and efficiently improving the utilization efficiency of the server resources, reducing hardware loss, and improving the user's experience.
Abstract:
Example charging methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes sending first request information to a charging system by a charging trigger apparatus. The charging trigger apparatus receives a first response information sent by the charging system. The first request information is used to request the charging system to create a resource for a session between a user equipment and a data network. The first response information comprises a first resource identifier that is used to identify the resource. The resource is used to manage: requesting for a quota for an online charging service in the session, or reporting of usage information of an online charging service in the session, or reporting of usage information of an offline charging service in the session.
Abstract:
Example charging methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes sending a service resource create request to a charging system by a charging trigger apparatus. The charging trigger apparatus receives a service resource create response sent by the charging system. The service resource create request is used to request the charging system to create a service resource corresponding to a service in a session. The session is used to provide a data connection service to user equipment. The service resource is used to manage requesting for a quota for the service in the session and/or manage reporting of usage information of the service in the session. The service resource create response includes a first resource identifier, and the first resource identifier is used to identify the service resource that corresponds to the service in the session and that is created by the charging system.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a charging method, including: receiving, by a network function virtualization orchestrator NFVO, a quota from a charging system; when a trigger event occurs, obtaining, by the NFVO, charging information from a virtual network function manager VNFM and charging information from a virtualized infrastructure manager VIM, where the trigger event includes an internal trigger event or an external trigger event, and the charging information from the VNFM includes usage information of the quota; and sending, by the NFVO, the charging information from the VNFM and the charging information from the VIM to the charging system. NFV architecture-based charging is implemented.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a policy control method and system, and a relevant apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a policy decision apparatus, a control policy request sent by a gateway device, where the control policy request carries a subscriber identifier; sending, by the policy decision apparatus, a session request message carrying the subscriber identifier to a charging system; receiving, by the policy decision apparatus, a response message; receiving, by the policy decision apparatus, a notification message sent through an established session by the charging system, and generating a service data flow control policy according to information of an occurred charging relevant event; and sending, by the policy decision apparatus, the control policy to the gateway device. The method may implement, based on charging relevant information of a subscriber, policy control of a data flow, flexibility is desirable, and service experience of the subscriber is good.
