Abstract: A data transmission method includes receiving. by a first terminal, a first notification message, where the first notification message notifies the first terminal that a target bicycle is in an available state. The method further includes sending, by the first terminal, a mode setting instruction to a second terminal after receiving the first notification message, where the mode setting instruction instructs the second terminal to enter a riding model. The method further includes receiving, by the second terminal, the mode setting instruction from the first terminal, and catering the riding mode.
