Abstract: This application discloses a data access method and apparatus, and relates to the storage field. In this application, a write request is received; a destination address of a memory area corresponding to to-be-written data is obtained based on address indication information included in the write request; and the to-be-written data is written, in an append write manner, into the memory area indicated by the destination address. After the to-be-written data is written into the memory area, a read/write attribute corresponding to the destination address is set, so that data in the memory area cannot be modified, thereby effectively avoiding illegal tampering with the data stored in the memory area, and implementing read-only protection on data in a storage class memory (SCM) medium.
