摘要： Provided is a three-dimensional (3D) image information transmitting system and method based on difference information. A 3D image information transmitting apparatus in the 3D image information transmitting system may include a difference information extractor to extract difference information by comparing a second composite texture image obtained by generating a composite of a first texture image and depth information with a second original texture image, and an image information transmitting unit to transmit 3D image information including the first texture image, the depth information, and the difference information.
