摘要： The present invention relates to a method and mobile terminal that enable efficient creation of a file list. The file list creation method includes selecting a directory having at least one file, setting a reference search location to the beginning of the selected directory, reading a directory entry at the reference search location, determining the state of a file corresponding to the directory entry, and creating a file list using the directory entry and updating the reference search location according to the size of the directory entry if the corresponding file is an existing file.
