Abstract: This invention relates to a distributor tray (2) comprising at least one perforated wall (6) defining compartments (8 and 9). According to the invention, distributor tray (2) comprises at least one distribution compartment (8) within which the gas and the liquid can flow through the tray, and at least one retention compartment (9) within which the liquid cannot flow through the tray. The at least one retention compartment is arranged on the periphery of the tray. The invention also relates to a column intended for heat and/or material exchange between a gas and a liquid, equipped with a distributor tray (2), to a floating barge comprising such a column and to the use of the column.
