Abstract: An apparatus for indicating a sanitation status of a portable surgical cart or medical tool supported by the portable surgical cart is disclosed herein. The apparatus comprises at least one indicium that visually indicates a sanitation status of the portable surgical cart. The sanitation status is one of at least sterilized or contaminated. The apparatus is configured to be coupled to the portable surgical cart.
