Abstract: Provided are a mutant of RANKL protein that acts in vivo as an antigen to induce production of an anti-RANKL antibody so as to inhibit production of osteoclasts, but does not induce differentiation of osteoclasts while binding to RANK, and a composition for preventing or treating a metabolic bone disease, the composition comprising the mutant of RANKL protein as an active ingredient.
