摘要： An in vitro method for diagnosing thrombocytopenia in a subject, the method includes the step of assessing the ANKRD26 platelet expression in a biological sample from the subject, wherein a ANKRD26 platelet expression is indicative of a thrombocytopenia. Also described is a kit for diagnosing a thrombocytopenia in a subject, which includes at least one ANKRD26 nucleic acid probe or oligonucleotide or antibody for assessing the ANKRD26 platelet expression in a biological sample from the subject.
