Abstract: The present disclosure includes systems and methods for triggering xPRACH transmissions. Control information is obtained from a first evolved Node B (eNB). The control information includes at least one random access parameter. A random access preamble index is determined based on the at least one random access parameter. A random access preamble is generated for a second eNB based on the random access preamble index.
