摘要： A rotary device is coupled to the rotary mechanism of a turbocharger for selectively adding torque to and subtracting torque from the rotary turbocharger mechanism. A controller causes the rotary device to apply torque to the rotary turbocharger mechanism which causes the compressor to operate at a power level which creates a target pressure in the intake manifold different from existing pressure in the intake manifold.
