摘要： This invention relates to a streamer ball for use in a ball and bat-type game. The ball is either one of a tennis-type ball and a solid foam-type ball and has one end of an elongate spacer stem connected thereto. The other end of the spacer stem has a plurality of elongate streamers attached thereto. The physical characteristics associated with the ball, the stem and the streamers permit play of a tennis-type game, which involves the ball bouncing, and a volley-type game, that is played without the ball bouncing.

摘要： An anchor fitting for a hollow ball includes a pair of shoulder defining bodies and an anchor body. These are located within the ball, the anchor body holding the shoulder defining bodies in place with respect to the ball so that with the anchor body having a cord, a tail, or a stem for a tail anchored thereto, the shoulder defining bodies will be effective for retaining the anchor fitting within the ball while playing a game which involves the ball being struck with a bat or racquet. The parts of the fitting are separately displaced through a hole in the wall of a ball, the anchor body permitting cooperation with an elongate element for facilitating the effective assembly of the fitting.

摘要： A stand for a vertical pole support for a tether ball type game includes a base which can contain ballast and a lid, through which the pole passes and a formation on its floor for receiving the end of the pole. The lid and base are attached by a two stage attachment arrangement. The first stage includes inter-engageable tongue and groove formations which are capable of attachment and detachment by application of finger pressure, and the second stage includes locking devices at points around the periphery of the base container for a positive lock of the lid to the base, so that the first stage cannot be broken other than by the use of excessive force having regard to the conventional use of the stand.

摘要： The invention relates to a tether cord and ball arrangement for a tether ball-type game apparatus. The arrangement comprises a cord, a ball engaged with the cord at one end thereof and a tail assembly. The tail assembly includes an elongate anchor element that defines an eye formation near one end thereof whereby the element can be rotatably located on the cord, particularly adjacent the location where the ball is engaged with the cord. The anchor element has a plurality of streamers attached thereto near its end opposite to the end where the eye formation is defined, the streamers, during play of a tether ball-type game which involves striking the ball with a bat, providing a pleasant visual and audible effect, while also providing for desired ball flight qualities.
