摘要： A disk receiving and transferring device by which a disk is precisely guided into the disk drive. Disks of different diameter can be inserted into a single disk drive, and at the same time gears are smoothly engaged during power transmission for the clamping of a disk. The disk receiving and transferring device of the invention includes: a disk transferor for transferring a disk by the power of a driving source; a balance guide unit for guiding the disk inserted into the device by the transferor for thereby precisely inserting the disk; a holder guide unit which interlocks with the balance guide unit and is guided by the balance guide unit for thereby receiving the disk moved by the transferor and guiding the disk until the disk transfer is finished; and a sensor guide unit for interlocking with the holder guide unit, guiding the disk by the insertion power of the disk, and connecting the power for clamping the disk, wherein the balance guide unit and holder guide unit are configured to be fastened when the power of the driving source is connected.

摘要： A clamping device of a disk drive including a driving source, a driving member rotated by the driving force of the driving source; a clamping member for clamping a disk while being ascended and descended by virtue of a rotation movement of the driving member; a clamping member ascending and descending unit for switching the rotation movement of the driving source to ascending and descending movement of the clamping member, and elastically supporting the disk on a turntable while the disk is being mounted on the turntable; and an elastic press member installed on the upper surface of the driving member, for pressing the clamping member in the direction where the disk is positioned. The elastic support arm, which is thin and has a desirable restoring force, is driven by the rotation movement of the clamp driving member, thereby ascending and descending the clamper. Thus, the overall construction is thin, light and small as well as ensuring the firm and reliable clamping of the disk. In addition, during the clamping operation, the disk is mounted on the turntable more accurately, and by having a construction that one of support pieces of the elastic support arms is installed higher than the others, force is sequentially transferred to the clamper, rather than being transferred suddenly, so that its process is performed smoothly.

摘要： A vibration reduction apparatus of a disk drive is provided. An optical pickup base 10 in which an optical pickup 16 is movably installed is provided. A spindle motor 18 for providing power requiring for rotating a disk is installed at the front end of the optical pickup base 10, and a turntable 20 for mounting a disk is provided at a rotation axis of the spindle motor 18. A vibration reduction body 30 for reducing a vibration generating in the optical pickup base 10 is installed in the optical pickup base 10. The vibration reduction body 30 comprises a fixing device 32 fixedly installed at one side of the optical pickup base 10, a support bar 36 extended from one side of the fixing device 32 and having an elastically deformable cantilever shape, and a vibration proof weight 38 provided at the front end of the support bar 36. Thereby, the vibration reduction body is formed with one module and can be installed at a location having a large vibration response according to a design condition, thereby effectively reducing a vibration.
