Abstract: A display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. The display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a pixel array area and a sealing element. The first substrate has at least a first edge. The second substrate is disposed opposite to the first substrate. The pixel array area is configured between the first substrate and the second substrate and has at least a second edge partially overlapping with the first edge. The pixel array area includes a display area. The display area has at least a third edge corresponding to the second edge. The sealing element is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and corresponding to a periphery of the display area. The sealing element has at least a side partially located in the pixel array area.
