    Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture (e.g., physical storage media) to provide device enhancements for software defined silicon implementations are disclosed. Example apparatus disclosed herein include a request interface to receive a request for a timestamp. Disclosed example apparatus also include a property checker to determine a first value of an electrical property of a feature embedded in a silicon product, the feature having electrical properties that change over time. Disclosed example apparatus further include a relative time determiner to calculate a relative time between the request and a previous event based on the first value of the electrical property and a second value of the electrical property, the second value of the electrical property associated with the previous event.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture (e.g., physical storage media) for software defined silicon guardianship are disclosed. An example method for semiconductor feature guardianship includes identifying, with a co-processor of a first semiconductor device, a feature based on a license received via a network from a remote enterprise system, the feature activated on a first semiconductor device based on the license, generating, with the co-processor of the first semiconductor device, a mesh network, the mesh network including a plurality of nodes associated with respective semiconductor devices including the first semiconductor device, the plurality of nodes including a primary node in communication with one or more secondary nodes, and migrating, with the co-processor of the first semiconductor device, the feature from a first secondary node to a second secondary node in response to a feature failure even on the first secondary node, the migration to maintain a feature entitlement associated with the license.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, an apparatus comprises circuitry, wherein the circuitry is configured to: receive, via a communications network, context information for a first set of one or more edge devices, wherein the context information identifies an operating environment of the first set of edge devices based on information from one or more sensors; receive, via the communications network, workload information for a second set of one or more edge devices; determine workload assignments for the first set of edge devices based on the context information for the first set of edge devices and based on the workload information for the second set of edge devices; and transmit, via the communications network, the workload assignments to the first set of edge devices.
