Abstract: An image processing apparatus that performs processing for image data of a maxillofacial region obtained by X-ray CT imaging, and includes a memory that stores image data including an alveolar bone region, and an image processor that generates a display stereoscopic image based on the image data. The image processor executes processing for setting a continuous section curved along the alveolar bone region in the alveolar bone region, and processing for generating, as the display stereoscopic image, an image in which a transparency degree of a first region located in a region on one side with the continuous section in the alveolar bone region as a boundary is displayed to be larger than a transparency degree of a second region located in a region on the other side with the continuous section in the alveolar bone region as a boundary.
