摘要： Provided is a liquid crystal composition, comprising: one or more compounds of general formula I accounting for 1-30% of the total weight of the liquid crystal composition; one or more compounds of general formula II accounting for 1-30% of the total weight of the liquid crystal composition; one or more compounds of general formula III accounting for 1-20% of the total weight of the liquid crystal composition; and one or more compounds of general formula IV accounting for 30-80% of the total weight of the liquid crystal composition. The liquid crystal composition has at least one of the following properties: a large specific resistance, a high voltage holding ratio, a suitable optical anisotropy, a large dielectric anisotropy, a small viscosity, a low threshold voltage, etc., and is also green and environmentally friendly. The liquid crystal composition is suitable for use in a liquid crystal display device, enabling the liquid crystal display device to have the following properties: a high voltage holding ratio, a short response time, a high contrast ratio, a low energy consumption, and being green and environmentally friendly, etc.

摘要： The present invention provides a liquid crystal composition and a liquid crystal display device thereof. The liquid crystal composition comprises at least one compound of general formula I and at least one compound of general formula II. The liquid crystal composition has a larger vertical dielectric constant (ε⊥), a larger ratio of the vertical dielectric constant to the absolute value of dielectric anisotropy (ε⊥/|Δε|), a larger Kave value and a higher transmittance while maintaining an appropriate clearing point, an appropriate optical anisotropy, and an appropriate absolute value of the dielectric anisotropy, such that the liquid crystal display device comprising the same has a better contrast, a faster response speed and a better transmittance while maintaining an appropriate range of operating temperature and an appropriate threshold voltage.

摘要： A PSA-type liquid crystal composition includes a host liquid crystal A and a polymerizable component B, where the host liquid crystal A includes one or more liquid crystal compounds, and the polymerizable component B includes at least one compound selected from compounds of general formula I-1, general formula I-2 and general formula I-3. A liquid crystal display device includes the PSA-type liquid crystal composition above. The PSA-type liquid crystal composition has better intersolubility, cannot be crystallized at a low-temperature environment, can form a relatively stable pretilt angle after the polymerization of the polymerizable component, avoids the image sticking, and inhibits the occurrence of a display defect, such as Zara Particle, during the polymerization.

摘要： The present invention provides a polymerizable compound with a structure of general formula I, which exhibits none or few of the problems existing in the prior art. A polymerizable liquid crystal composition comprising the polymerizable compound has good stability and higher reliability, and is embodied by having a smaller pretilt angle change and higher voltage holding ratio. Also, there is little or no image sticking effect in a liquid crystal display device comprising the polymerizable liquid crystal composition. The present invention also provides a method of synthesizing a polymerizable compound with a structure of general formula I.
