摘要: An organic EL display panel including a substrate, an element array, a planarizing layer, light emitting layers, and a dummy light emitting layer. The element array is disposed above the substrate and includes a light emitting region and a peripheral region that does not emit light surrounding the light emitting region. The planarizing layer is disposed between the substrate and the element array so as to cover the substrate. The light emitting layers are present in the element array in the light emitting region and include organic light emitting material. The dummy light emitting layer is present in the element array in the peripheral region and includes organic light emitting material. A portion of the planarizing layer below the dummy light emitting layer is recessed, and a lower portion of the dummy light emitting layer extends inside the recessed portion.

摘要: A method of manufacturing an organic electroluminescence display panel includes forming pixel electrode layers in a matrix on a substrate. The method includes arranging column banks extending in a column direction above the substrate. The method includes applying ink containing organic light emitting material to gaps between the column banks so that the ink is continuous between ends of the column banks in the column direction. The method includes arranging the substrate and a rectifying plate facing each other, the rectifying plate having a uniform density of through holes, such that the rectifying plate is at a predefined distance from the column banks. The method includes exhausting gas from an environment including the substrate and the rectifying plate. The method further includes heating the substrate to dry the ink to form an organic functional layer. The method includes forming a counter electrode layer above the organic functional layer.

摘要: A method of manufacturing an organic electroluminescence display panel includes: forming pixel electrodes in matrix on a substrate; arranging column banks extending in column direction above the substrate along row direction, the banks each being between adjacent pixel electrodes in the row direction; applying ink containing organic light emitting material to gaps between adjacent banks, the applied ink being continuous in the column direction; reducing pressure of atmosphere including the substrate to first pressure while positioning a rectifying plate at first distance from upper surface of the substrate, the plate covering region with the ink applied on the substrate; reducing, after the reducing, the pressure to second pressure, which is lower than the first pressure, or lower while positioning the plate at second distance, which is greater than the first distance, from the surface; heating the substrate to form organic functional layer; and forming counter electrode above the functional layer.
